Andreas heard the humming of the siren’s voice. He knew what she was trying to do. Snap out of it, don’t let her get to you, Andreas thought. “Don’t let her get to you,” he softly repeated to himself. But it was too late, Andreas became hypnotized by the song.
Melody smirked, singing louder while swimming backwards to lead him deeper into the water. Perfect. He’ll be mine in no time. But while she was doing this, the good Melody inside was screaming, pleading her to stop. The siren growled inwardly, drowning out her cries to focus on what she was doing. Shut up, goody goody. I’m in control now.
Andreas was fully hypnotized by the siren’s singing. He started to follow the siren into the waters. Come on snap the hell out of it Andreas his mind kept telling him. He didn’t listen. Andreas was halfway down the waters, but he gently put his puppy down on the floor. “Stay here, little one,” he said in a calmly monotone voice.
Without even glancing at the little puppy, Melody kept her eyes focused on him while taking his hands gently to pull him further away from the shore. She kept her song soft so that he wouldn’t snap out of her spell. She swam to the much deeper waters until she finally felt that they were far enough away. The siren placed her hands on his chest as her song began to end, her grin becoming more wicked until at the last note, she pushed him down and began to drag him under.
Andreas felt the siren grab his hands. He was getting pulled into the water. Andreas felt completely wrapped around her finger; no way to get out. His mind kept telling him to snap out of it, but Andreas wouldn’t budge. Then he felt the siren’s hands on his chest now. Going deeper… “Where are we going?” Andreas managed to ask her.
